Among its research programs, NARRS is related to NAG who has collaborated with CNRS in France (National Center for Scientific Research) in order to develop a passive phase measuring apparatus : the “Impacteur Accelerométrique Léger” = foot shock measurer. It is a tremendous electronic device linked to a computer, which gives the soil a mechanical signature. It is a rigorous tool to diagnose surface quality.

It allows us to :
- Compare and analyze the different surface products
- Evaluate and guide maintenance procedures
- Analyze existing soil faults in order to correct them.

Each NARRS surface is analyzed to define & determine all its characteristics and is given a certificate of measure, which enables us to follow its evolution over time.
